Foodie
Every kitchen belongs to a real neighbour whom Pados checked and approved before their first dish (a society’s Captain also approves its own members). Each kitchen shows its rating, so you can see it before you order.
Yes. Home shows Home Chefs within 2 km of your phone’s location, or of an address you pick. Want Pados set up for your society? Talk to us: we set it up with you, and a society goes live once it has a Captain and a few kitchens ready.
No. Neighbours see a username such as @P8DQS, never your real name. Only the person bringing your order sees your address, and only once they have taken it on. A six-digit code completes the handover, so no phone numbers change hands.
Each dish shows how it reaches you: a Delivery Partner brings it, the cook brings it, or you pick it up from the cook. For a pickup you see where to collect it only after you book.
Yes, until the cook marks it ready. Open the order, tap “Delivering to” and pick another of your places within 2 km of the cook.
Because a home cook decides each day whether to cook. A small, fresh menu from neighbours is the product, not a limitation — Pados is not trying to show you 5,000 restaurants.
Yes. The food poll on Home lets you vote for dishes you would love to eat this week. Cooks within 2 km of you (your society’s included) see how many people asked for each dish — never who.
Tap “Need help?” on the order and add up to five photos or PDFs. The conversation continues in You → My Requests, and you are notified of every reply.
Until the dish’s order-by time, with a full refund: open the order and tap Cancel order. After that, tap Need help? and we sort it out with the cook.
You get everything back: food, delivery fee and GST. That happens if no Delivery Partner takes the dish and the cook declines, or if the dish is not ready 10 minutes after its ready time.
Dishes within 2 km of your phone’s location, or of the address you pick. If your society is on Pados, its kitchens too.
You → My Requests: one list of your applications, join requests, order help and messages to Pados. Every row opens its conversation.
Its order-by time has passed, or the plates are gone. A dish nobody ordered closes by itself at its ready-by time.
Home Chef
No. There is no daily obligation. You publish only when you want to cook, choose how many plates to make (up to 15 a dish), and set your own price. If you skip a week, nothing happens to your account.
No. Neighbours see your kitchen name, your dishes and your rating — never your name, your flat or your phone number.
You choose for each dish: a Delivery Partner collects it, the Foodie picks it up from a point you name, or you deliver it yourself. Your pickup point is shown only to Foodies who have booked, and nobody sees your exact kitchen location.
People within 2 km of your kitchen, your society included, who have added a delivery address.
You see the committed plate count before you start cooking, and your exact payout is shown before you publish a dish. No estimates after the fact. Pados keeps 7% of each order; on a society order 2% of that goes to its Captain. The rest is yours, paid about a day after the dish is ready. If a Delivery Partner brings the dish, the Foodie pays the ₹20 delivery fee; it is never taken from you.
Once the food is delivered, your dish shows the plates you served, what you earned after deductions, and your payout: paid, on its way (usually within a day), or waiting for your bank or UPI.
Nothing to do. You can reopen ordering once; at its ready-by time the dish closes by itself, with one note in your Kitchen.
After ordering closes you can decline all those orders in one tap, and each Foodie gets a full refund. If no partner comes within 10 minutes, you may deliver it yourself.
You get a reminder 15 minutes before the ready time. If it is not marked ready 10 minutes after that time, every order is refunded in full and you are told.
Your first and last name, the name as on your ID and your date of birth, plus the document itself. Only Pados sees them, and your society’s Captain if you belong to one.
Delivery Partner
Short. The kitchen is within 2 km of you, in your society or nearby, and all the orders of a dish are one pickup with a code for each drop. You earn ₹20 per delivery, paid to your bank or UPI.
Each delivery is offered first to the Delivery Partner with the best score. You have 30 seconds to accept or pass, then it goes to the next. The offer shows the drops, the total km and what you earn. If everyone passes, it is open to all.
Only once you have accepted a run, when it becomes needed. Addresses are revealed in stages, never browsed in advance, and every view is logged.
Yes. You take deliveries only when you mark yourself available. There are no shifts and no minimum number of deliveries.
How often you accept, how fast, how many you complete, your time per delivery and your Foodie rating. You see your own; only Pados sees everyone’s.
Yes, with one tap: the cook at pickup and the Foodie at the door. Only Pados sees those stars.
₹20 per delivery, paid to your bank or UPI. No shifts, no minimum.
The Foodie, as a delivery fee shown on the order before they pay, along with 5% GST on the food and the fee. It goes to the Delivery Partner in full; it is never taken from the cook. Cook-delivers and pickup orders have no delivery fee.
Captain
About five minutes a week. The main task is approving the neighbours who ask to join your society.
Only the minimum needed to approve a resident, and sensitive access is kept separate from ordinary screens. Every such read is logged.
Yes. Tap the chat icon on a request waiting for you. You see only their username and they see only yours. Approve and Decline each take an optional private note.
No. Captains approve who joins and help the community get started. Cooks are responsible for their own dishes and kitchens.
Yes. Post up to three banners at a time, each with an optional photo. You choose who sees each one and whether it sits at the top or bottom of Home. Pados may switch off a banner that breaks the community rules.
Yes. Larger societies usually share the role so approvals never wait on one person.
Yes. 2% of every order in your society, paid about a day after each dish is ready, along with the cook’s payout.
Refer & Earn Vouchers
Open You → Refer & Earn Vouchers in the app and share your link. When someone new joins through it and their first order is delivered, you get a voucher worth 5% of that order. On a ₹200 order that is ₹10.
A day after the person you invited has their first order delivered, paid and not refunded. If they start as a Home Chef or Delivery Partner instead, you get 5% of their first payout once it is paid. A voucher you use never reduces your cook’s pay.
Your largest voucher applies by itself when you book; untick “Use your Pados voucher” to keep it. One voucher per order, up to 5% of that order; whatever does not fit stays as a voucher with the same expiry. If the order is cancelled or refunded, the voucher comes back.
A voucher is valid for 90 days. You can earn up to 10 rewards a month (more invites simply count next month). Each person can be invited only once, within their first week on Pados and before their first order, and you cannot invite yourself.
Only you see your invites and vouchers. The people you invite never see your name, and you never see theirs.
